Rose Chan was all smiles as she greeted a crowd of about 50 cheering fans from her Facebook fan page.
“Rose Chan! Rose Chan! We will support you forever!” the mostly teenage crowd chanted unanimously.
Most people would know Chan for her role as the jealous Mei Wai in The Legend is Born: Ip Man.
Though with the benefits of make-up and short shorts, Chan looked more like a hot girl in a club than her plain-faced character in the kung fu film.
But you might want to think twice about picking her up, fellas. She can kick your butt. For real.
The lanky 17-year-old has been studying Wing Chun for two years now and is a practitioner of the martial arts, just like her Ip Man co-star, Dennis To.
It is hardly surprising that the actress is keen to take on more action roles.
“I’m inclined to pick action roles since kung fu is something I’m familiar with,” she told The Daily Chilli at a shopping mall in Cheras on Friday.

The bubbly starlet also revealed she has a funny side.
“I like to laugh, so maybe one day I’ll take on a comic role,” she said with a chuckle, adding she would love to collaborate with Hong Kong actor Nick Cheong Ka-Fai.
